Don Gould gives talk on “The Topsy-Turvy World of Negative Interest Rates”

Don Gould, President and Chief Investment Officer of Gould Asset Management, had the pleasure of speaking to the University Club of Claremont in late April.  His talk, entitled “The Topsy-Turvy World of Negative Interest Rates”, examined the extreme measures central bankers have taken in an attempt to stimulate economic growth and avoid price deflation, as economies around the world continue to struggle.  Negative interest rates have been a key tool that central banks have employed, and Don spoke about the overall interest rate policy, its origins, and its implications for investors.
